Key Factors when Designing
Clear Height
Clear height will be an important factor when it comes to designing the system. Aerosol cages need to go up to the ceiling or have a ceiling. This is for safety measures to meet code.
Door types
Aerosol cages have 2 types of doors - Pedestrian egress doors with push bar for emergency exit and larger doors for forklift access. The larger doors come with automated swing or slide gate operators that link up with the fire alarm to close on activation.
Door locks
Special door locks are available including push bars, electric locks & mag locks with slide doors
Wall Panels
Aerosol storage cages are commonly made from 1-1⁄2” Square 8 Gauge Woven or Welded Wire Mesh, making them durable and long-lasting. Panels range from 1' to 10' wide.
