How much needs to fit?
Current inventory is only the starting point. We look at pallet and SKU profiles, load dimensions, storage density, inventory movement and expected growth.

How should product move?
Receiving, reserve storage, picking, packing, production support and shipping need clear paths that limit backtracking, congestion and double handling.

Where do people and equipment cross?
Forklifts, pedestrians, workstations, doors, docks and restricted areas should be planned together so safety is built into the layout.

A strong layout leaves room for new SKUs, added capacity, different equipment or automation without forcing the entire operation to start over.

What we need to understand
Start with what you have. A CAD file is helpful, but a PDF floor plan, broker flyer or measured sketch can still move the conversation forward.

60 pallet positions became 80
On a Waukesha project, a second measurement changed the workable layout from 60 to 80 pallet positions before material was ordered.

A beam changed the locker plan
During a VR review, a central beam showed that full-height lockers would not fit as planned. The layout changed to a double-high configuration before purchase.

8,000+ bins, each with its own SKU
For JW Winco, Two3 planned a shelf-supported mezzanine around 8,000+ labeled, barcoded bins, with fast movers down low and slower items above.
When is the right time to bring Two3 into the process?
Any time. We can help while you are comparing buildings, developing the layout, selecting systems or preparing for installation. If decisions have already been made, we will work from where the project stands and focus on what still needs to happen.
Do we need detailed data before the first conversation?
No. We can start with a floor plan, product list, rough pallet counts and your goals. Better data produces better options, and we will identify what is missing before the plan moves forward.

What can the warehouse planning scope include?
Scope varies by project, but it can include site walkthroughs and measurements, 2D concepts, 3D models, VR reviews, system selection, preliminary budgeting, permitting coordination and installation planning.

Yes. Two3 is based in Wisconsin, but we have already completed installations in 33 states. Our team plans, sources and installs warehouse systems for projects nationwide.
